| The following Terms & Conditions come into
effect upon receipt of our written confirmation of your booking.
Booking
A booking is accepted when you receive written confirmation from
us. Please ensure the details are correct and advise us immediately
on 07872 966383 if there are any errors.
Bookings from persons under the age of eighteen years cannot be
accepted. We reserve the right to decline a booking.
Payment
Upon booking we require a deposit of £50 per week (or part
thereof), the balance payable 28 days before the start of your holiday.
If booking within 28 days of arrival, payment is due in full at
the time of booking.
Cheques should be made payable to M & L Smalley.
We reserve the right to recover the cost of any bank charges incurred
in handling dishonoured cheques.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, deposits are non-refundable. If you
have to cancel less than four weeks prior to your holiday we will
endeavour to re-let the cottage, but should we be unable to do so
we will charge you the full rental. We strongly recommend that you
take out a cancellation insurance policy against this eventuality.
Keys
We will post the keys to the address on the booking form by recorded
delivery in the week prior to arrival, together with directions
to Quarrymans Cottage. Keys will only be sent to an alternative
address by prior arrangement.
Arrival & Departure
The cottage will be available from 2pm on the day of arrival and
vacation is required by 11am on the day of departure. However, we
will endeavour to accommodate your requirements.
Number of Guests
The maximum number of people allowed at Quarrymans Cottage is six.
Only those persons named on the booking form may stay at Quarrymans
Cottage, unless amendments are agreed with us prior to occupancy.
We do not allow subletting of the property.
Damages & Breakages
We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests’
personal effects or property whilst staying at Quarrymans Cottage.
We appreciate that even on holiday accidents do happen and we would
request that we are informed of any breakages or damage in the cottage
so that remedial action can be taken.
We require a damage deposit of £100 in the form of a separate
cheque. This will be returned unless there is damage in excess of
normal wear and tear.
We reserve the right of reasonable access to the cottage at all
times but where possible we would advise you in advance if access
is required.
Restrictions
Strictly no smoking and no pets (except service pets). We reserve
the right to collect reasonable compensation if these conditions
are not observed.
Your Holiday
Whether a planned holiday or a last minute short break, we want
you to enjoy your stay at Quarrymans Cottage. If there is any aspect
of your holiday that you are not happy with, please contact us without
